A lifelong resident of New England, Stephen Shore has worked in public education and in business.
As an undergraduate, he studied history, music and education at Bridgewater State. Steve was a Graduate Fellow, in the History Department, at Northeastern University.
As a single parent, he has raised two fine sons and--through their acquaintances--a plethora of quasi daughters and sons (the characteristics and namesakes of many appearing in his novels).
At this writing, Steve has published his first novel, Annalea, Princess of Nemusmar, and the sequel, Annalea, A Princess in Exile, and the highly anticipated final volume in the trilogy, Annalea, A Journey Through Strangers~At Journey's End. He has another new novel in publication: a contemporary mystery/crime story entitled, Sinful Images. Also as of this writing, Steve's first western novel, How I Became an Outlaw, by "Chili Beans" Bartlett has been published, and a non fiction piece--Better Than Nothing, a program to help you find your quality relationship. He has two other novels approximately eighty percent complete, and other works well begun. Steve obviously lives to write.
How to Become an Author
First Step: Become an insatiable yet proficient reader.
Reading is an excellent occupation of time. It plants those seeds in your mind that will germinate into thought and blossom into expression. When you find yourself mentally reacting to what you read, and needing to respond to the ideas, it's time to write.
